As usual, the conference program of the Vietnam ICT Outlook 2007 & Vietnam ComputerElectronics World Expo 2007 (VIO&CEW'07) consists of two parts: one of IDG and one HCA.
This year, VIO'07&CEW'07 is organized during two days of July 10 -11, 2007 at New World Saigon Hotel in HCM. HCA's theme is: "The world is flat, impact to Vietnam economy and the role of it in Vietnam", on July 10, 2007. This theme is made by an idea of PCWorld VN.
At this conference, with features of a business association, HCA takes its interest in making profits for the business, particularly in the background of WTO challenges and opporturnities of the flatten world: the businesses must cope with something what and something to overcome the challenges as well as take full advantage of highly valuable chances of the flatten world, effectively exploit ICT tools and global network. 
Besides Vietnam ICT Outlook 2007 report - an annual report of HCA, the program of HCA's VIO'07 are two keynotes and seven major reports.  
The two keynotes being "IT national IT infrastructure and the flatten world - how can Vietnam connect to the flatten world" presented by Ph.D Nguyen Quang A - an ICT expert with a wide knowledge on economy (Former President of Vietnam Association for Information Processing - VAIP, Chief of IT & Life Magazine and Digital World Major, cum Editor-in-chief of Vietnamese translation of "The World is flat" of Thomas L. Friedman) and "The flattening world and future of Vietnam economy" presented by Ph.D Le Dang Doanh - one of leading economic experts in Vietnam, Former Chairman of the National Economic Management Institute. 
Major reports show issues relating to the preparation for Vietnamese enterprises to enter the flatten world: "the flatten world – opportunities to enhance local knowledge using the global knowledge network", the speaker is Mr. Paul Nguyen Hung, CEO - VN Online Network; "Supply chain management - SCM in the flatten world - how can Vietnamese enterprises enter the world market through SCM integration", the speaker: Mr. Nguyen Quang Khai, Director of ERP Solution - Oracle Vietnam; "E-transaction (financial) withing the flattening world and the case of debit/ credit cards in Vietnam", the speaker: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Luong, Vice President of OnQ Technology Vietnam JSC (Australia); "OpenSource Technology, what can it do to support Vietnam in its adventure to integrate to the world economy. Experiences in ITO/ BPO services", with the two speakers of Mr. Kevin Miller, Consultant - Saigon Linux Group and Mr. Anthony John Fernandes, IT Manager - GHP Far East Co., Ltd.; "Road and trend of globa BPO; Vietnam case", the speaker Ms. Dang Uyen Phuong – Market analyst - IDC VN and "The roles of law and regulations in Vietnam to enable Vietnam within the flatten world", the speaker Ph.D Le Net – LTC Lawyers. 

Some speakers for the conference in this year are Overseas-Vietnamese enterprises or who are trained, have a period of time to work abroad. As for the audience, there will have some more social critics, activists contributing for the country economy development. As for the enterprises, besides ICT companies, the conference also draws the attraction from ICT applying businesses in order to experience together some challenges and opportunities of a world to be flatten - a real dream - by developping nations' expectation.
